WebCom Committee

Committee Charter:  Advise and prepare communication to members from the DPA Board and related committees. Develop, organize, and publish content to inform members of Board decisions, policy, survey results, committee activities, and community news. Propose, prepare, conduct, and summarize member surveys which provide input to the DPA Board on policy and improvement of DPA assets. Investigation and development of Dollar Point public and secure member website functionality. Integration as appropriate with other DPA office systems to simplify communication with DPA members and lower operational cost Provide assistance to DPA committees when needed to help draft communications for the Dollar Point Community, and to survey ideas about activities, policy, and improvements at Dollar Point.   

2025 Goals:

• DPA Newsletters – twice a year (Spring/Summer & Fall/Winter)
• Firewise Newsletters – roughly 1 per month
• Develop a Dollar Point Crisis Communications Plan
• Create a new member ‘Welcome Wagon’ Kit
• Schedule & promote Open Meeting Program
• Conduct member surveys and results summarization/communication to the DPA membership
• Encourage DPA Board, staff, and membership to communicate topics of interest to our community
• Initiate online payments
• Mobile phone user interface improvement
• Improve / expand online reservations
• Forms to help with buoy / rack storage rentals
• Webcam page – add pool, tennis courts to existing feeds
• Up to date postings for directory, newsletters, minutes, calendar
• Enable view family list info within member accounts
• More photos across the site
• Encourage DPA Board, staff and membership to use the website for all member communication
