Annual Meeting 7/26

The Annual Meeting will be hosted on the pool lawn at 4pm tomorrow, July 26th. The pool will close early on the 26th at 2pm to prepare for the meeting.

 

Gates will open at 3:15pm for drinks and appetizers.

Following the meeting will be the dinner at 5:15pm for the members who RSVPed.

Last Day to RSVP for Annual Meeting Dinner Is July 18th

Dear Members,

The Annual Meeting will be hosted on the pool lawn at 4pm on July 26th. The pool will close early on the 26th at 2pm to prepare for the meeting. Proxy ballots need to be returned to the office by Friday, July 25th. Proxy ballots can be returned to the office by mail (P.O. Box 1490), email, fax (530-452-2382), and in person. Please note that there are three (3) openings on the Board and that you may vote for a maximum of three (3) candidates. Both sides of the Proxy Ballot must be filled out for your vote to count.

Following the meeting will be the dinner at 5:15pm for the members who RSVPed. RSVPs are due by July 18th. Here is the RSVP Dinner Form.

Having Issues with Short-Term Renters in the Neighborhood? Here’s What You Can Do

We understand that short-term rentals can sometimes create disruptions in the Dollar Point neighborhood. If you’re experiencing problems such as excessive noise, parking issues, or safety concerns related to short-term renters in your area, there are resources available to help you take action.

How to Report a Violation

The fastest and most effective way to report a violation is to contact the 24/7 hotline:

When you call, be prepared to provide:

  • Your name and phone number

  • The address of the property you are reporting

  • A clear description of the violation (e.g., loud party, blocked driveway, overflowing trash)

Examples of violations that can be reported include:

  • § 9.42.080 C – Illegal parking

    • On-site parking for all vehicles, boats and trailer parking shall be provided for each short-term rental. There shall be no parking on the roadway and on-site parking shall not encroach into the roadway.

  • § 9.42.080 D – Excessive noise or disturbances

    • Amplified sound, meaning sound whose volume is increased by any electric, electronic, mechanical, or motor-powered means, shall not be used outside or be audible from the parcel line of any short-term rental at any time.
    • Quiet hours shall be imposed from 9 p.m. to 8 a.m. PST. No sound from the STR shall be audible from the parcel line of any short-term vacation rental unit during this time.
  • § 9.42.080 E – Trash
    • Accumulation of trash and debris outside of the short-term rental at any time is prohibited.
    • Bear bin enclosures or dumpsters must be large enough to securely contain the minimum trash service level or sized appropriately to securely accommodate all trash generated by the short-term rental.
  • § § 9.42.080 N – Occupancy limits

    • Nighttime occupancy is defined as two people per bedroom, plus two additional people, up to a maximum of 12 guests, excluding children under 12 years of age. Daytime occupancy is defined as one and a half times the maximum number of occupants allowed to stay overnight at the unit, excluding children under 12.

Junior Tennis Clinic Coming Soon!

A Junior Tennis Clinic with our tennis pro, Alan Foster, will take place from Monday, July 21st through Friday, July 25th.

The beginner clinic is from 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM and the intermediate clinic is from 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM.

The cost is $125 per student, ages 6 – 14 are welcome to participate. To sign up your children for the Junior Tennis Clinic, please visit the Dollar Point Association office.
